I asked a sample of my audience what they liked and dis-liked about the magazine 'ACOUSTIC' and any features they thought worked well and what they look for in a magazine. I also asked them to comment on my mood board and say what idea's they liked and dis-liked and from seeing the existing magazine what features they think would work well and others they would like to see included.

I really like this kind of audience research. You discussed the content and style with your audience 'representative'. The threw up ideas and thoughts that were clearly new to you and therefore this exercise was productive and very much part of your planning.
